Kistler China Joining Competency Center relocates and expands

Shanghai, August 2024 - Since its establishment in 2019, Kistler China's Joining Competency Center (JCC) has been providing joining system trial and testing services to customers in China. 

In August 2024, Kistler China is proud to announce the relocation and expansion of its Joining Competency Center. The upgraded facility now features an extended range of joining systems, fulfilling testing needs for joining modules from 500N to 300kN, ensuring customers use the right equipment to meet their requirements. Additionally, we have enhanced our service capabilities with the introduction of a new Joining System Training

Center, designed to meet the increasing demand for technical training and hands-on operational courses.
The new and improved Kistler China Joining Competency Center will deliver even more direct and customer-centric local services. China Service team offers comprehensive lifecycle solutions, ensuring every step—from equipment selection and installation to on-site training, calibration, and engineering consultation—is executed with precision and efficiency.

Kistler Joining System Testing Services 

At Kistler China, we provide expert assistance right from the equipment selection phase. Our experienced technicians recommend the most suitable models based on your specific applications. At the JCC, we offer the opportunity to use a test workstation for flexible validation of assembly and testing processes up to 300kN, on parts such as bearings, sealing rings, rotor packages, bushings, and springs. This aids in press selection, process parameter analysis, and fixture validation, thus saving costs by avoiding over-dimensioning.

• Initial Selection: The joining process test helps determine the optimal pressure range and process parameters.
• Process Optimization: Existing joining system users can refine their processes through targeted test pressing.

Kistler Joining System Training 

Our newly expanded Joining Competency Center also features advanced joining system training equipment, further enhancing Kistler's training capabilities. Our in-house technical experts provide comprehensive training courses, covering everything from hardware configuration and parameter setup to process programming and maintenance. Trainees will benefit from both in-depth theoretical instruction and practical, hands-on experience. 

On August 13 and 14, the new JCC hosted the first Joining System training with over 20 users from key customers. The training offered them the opportunity for face-to-face exchanges with our experts, helping them improve their joining processes and ensure that joining systems are handled reliably, with training programs conducted in the classroom and directly on the machines.
