Plug-in fork light barriers with cleaning nozzles for connection to the separate S2 electronics. Transmitter and receiver are located in a compact, and at the same time robust, fork-shaped aluminum housing. This allows for easy mounting without time-consuming alignment. The connection to the electronics is made using the standardized S2 miniature connector system. The infrared light transmitter (IR) is ideal for use in dirty environments. When used with the dual-level alternating light electronics, the functional reserve can be doubled in highly oily operating conditions (amplifier level II). With the dynamic pulse electronics S2-D-x-P, smallest objects from a diameter of 0.1 mm can be detected. By using the cleaning nozzle, oil that accumulates in front of the transmitter or receiver can also be blown off.
