Magnetic mounting base for acceleration sensors / 8452A

A notched mounting unit is available for mounting on curved surfaces. Magnetic bases find use in applications requiring vibration monitoring of large rotating machinery. Note that usage of some mounting bases can add considerable mass and reduce high-frequency response. Take extreme care when using magnetic mounting bases in order to avoid shock during ferromagnetic surface approach, which could cause irreversible damage to the sensor.
