KiDAQ controller and bus coupler

To acquire data with KiStudio Lab on your PC we provide our KiDAQ Controller. Alternatively, a Bus Coupler for EtherCAT use is available.

The KiDAQ Controller and Bus Coupler each provide power to the measurement modules and the proper data interface, depending on the use case. The Controller uses the Kistler KiConnect protocol to communicate via TCP/IP to the measurement PC with KiStudio. In addition, the Precision Time Protocol (PTP IEEE1588) ensures very precise time synchronization to other equipment in the measurement setup. The KiDAQ Bus Coupler acts as an EtherCAT slave and converts the Ethernet signal from the master to the measurement modules and vice versa.
