KLM 621

Inline laser marking system (marking-on-the-fly, MOF) for serialization and ensuring traceability of continuously produced stamped parts (reel-to-reel).
Main features / advantages
  • Laser marking of metal-plastic hybrid components (parts)
  • Serialization, ensuring traceability
  • Positioning accuracy of approx. ±0.002 mm
  • Cycle time up to 1600 parts/min
  • Easy process connection
  • Optional visual verification of the laser marking
The laser marking system KLM 621 for the laser marking of metal-plastic hybrid components enables seamless marking or coding for the purpose of traceability. This powerful and flexible system operates both independently and directly integrated into stamping lines as well as injection molding and assembly lines. Continuous strip material is marked "on-the-fly" using the laser marking process "Marking-on-the-fly" (MOF). The laser marking system has a cycle rate of 1,600 parts per minute with a positioning accuracy of approximately ±0.002 mm.
