Precision and surface quality are the requirements for metal and plastic components in many industries. With the KVC 821 automatic inspection and sorting machine (machine vision inspection system), turned, pressed and molded components are fed to the test section. The test criteria for the 100% inspection are dimensions and surface properties. The components are presented to the cameras via a permanently rotating glass plate. With different camera configurations and the easy-to-use Kistler image processing software KiVision, the system can be adjusted to meet specific customer requirements. The software also enables the statistical analysis of the inspected components and the generation of quality reports.
