- Statistical quality evaluation
Precision and surface quality are the requirements for metal and plastic components in many industries. With the KVC 121 automatic inspection and sorting machine (machine visioin inspection system), turned, pressed and molded components are fed to the test section at high throughput rates and using the inclined-plane principle. The test criteria for the 100% inspection are dimensions and surface properties. The components are presented to the cameras via a prism rail (optional flatbed rail). With different camera configurations and the easy-to-use Kistler image processing software KiVision, the system can be adjusted to meet specific customer requirements. The software also enables the statistical analysis of the inspected components and the generation of quality reports.
