The fully automated optical inspection system (machine vision system) for inline quality assurance in
stamping production, Inline Vision & Weld, inspects stamped metal strips during production for dimensional accuracy and surface defects. It separates defective stamped parts (rejects/NOK parts) and seamlessly welds the strip back together. This ensures that only good parts (OK parts) remain on the spool.manufacturing. Different camera configurations and the easy-to-use Kistler image processing software KiVision allow adjusting the system to meet specific customer requirements. The software also enables the statistical analysis of the inspected components and the generation of quality reports.
The system for 100% inspection of metal stamping strips combines the machine vision inspection system KVC 621 with the precise cutting and laser welding technology from Nidec SYS.
