SPS 2023: Individual, resource-efficient, precise – Solutions from Kistler

Winterthur, October 2023 – At SPS 2023 in Nuremberg (November 14-16, booth 410 in hall 7A), Kistler presents various technologies for automated manufacturing from our wide portfolio of production measurement technology and joining systems. This year, we focus on sensitive production steps, comprehensive data collection and analysis as well as seamless process monitoring.

Precise process optimization: The 9172CD piezoelectric load cell measures even the smallest tensile and compressive forces precisely and reliably.
The 9172CD piezoelectric load cell developed by Kistler enables greater safety and more precise process optimization in demanding applications thanks to its wide measuring range of up to 1000 N.

Reliable solutions for process monitoring

Providing precise force measurement data in manufacturing: the new 9172CD force transducer and handheld devices. At the tradeshow, our experts show visitors how these devices contribute to process optimization. The robust 9172CD force transducer is particularly easy to install thanks to preloading. Further features are its compact design and wide measuring range. It precisely detects both the smallest forces as well as impacts of up to 1,000 newtons and ensures highly accurate results even in complex applications.

The new handheld devices with integrated charge amplifiers enable users to easily compare and verify data from piezoelectric sensors right next to the machine without removing them. In conjunction with a traceable calibration according to ISO17025, the mobile devices 5811A00 and 5811A01 can be used as reference measuring devices.

The maXYmos system from Kistler shows how processes can be monitored in real time as it allows comprehensive monitoring and the immediate evaluation of quality parameters. With the latest version, users have access to extensive device and measurement data. The extended audit trail functionality protects the system against manipulation attempts.

Customizable joining solutions

Visitors of the SPS 2023 trade show also have the opportunity to experience the electromechanical joining modules NCFE 2/5, NCFT and NCFR as well as various options for customization. At the Joining Competence Center, experts determine which option fits each user’s needs. They simulate all important steps in advance and help with choosing the right solution as well as optimizing the joining process.

Another example of customizable solutions from Kistler at SPS 2023 is the Smart Single Station, which is amongst others suitable for the most sensitive joining applications and their monitoring. It can be used as stand-alone solution but can also be integrated into existing production lines. In addition, the analysis and visualization software jBEAM and the data management solution MaDaM from Kistler make it possible to automatically generate reports based on the joining data. The software solutions are also attractive for machine builders. They can use them to integrate analysis templates into their machines so that end customers can make use of interactive analysis for monitoring and optimizing their processes.
