Cylinder pressure sensors, M8x0.75, new generation / 6044A

The newly developed M8 cylinder pressure sensor Type 6044A convinces by a minimal sensitivity change over the temperature range and a low linearity deviation. With its installation insensitivity (anti-strain design), it is ideally suited for direct mounting.

6044A

The newly developed M8 cylinder pressure sensor Type 6044A convinces by a minimal sensitivity change over the temperature range and a low linearity deviation. With its installation insensitivity (anti-strain design), it is ideally suited for direct mounting.
Main features / advantages
  • Shoulder-sealing installation
  • Low thermal shock error
  • Very low linearity deviation
  • Anti-strain design
  • Suitable for use in hydrogen combustion engines
The cylinder pressure sensors of Type 6044A use a PiezoStar crystal for high sensitivity in a compact form. Thanks to their high nominal pressure range (300 bar) and crystal package with an improved pressure resistant design they can withstand higher pressure peaks. In addition to the minimum sensitivity change over the temperature range (TKE) and a very small linearity deviation, Type 6044A is characterized by a low thermal shock error. The newly developed pressure sensor is mountable in the bore of the uncooled sensors of Type 6045 and the cooled sensors of Type 6041 with an M8x0.75 through-hole thread.
