主要特点/优势
  • Ideally suited for free-field shock waves
  • Robust and simple measurement thanks to IEPE technology
  • Selectable output range
  • Selectable output connector (BNC, KIAG 10-32, Microdot)
The pencil probes of family Type 6233 are specifically designed to measure dynamic pressures in free field pressure applications and shock wave propagation. Piezoelectric technology is ideally suited to measure highly dynamic pressure signals over a wide range of pressures. The IEPE technology significantly improves the handling of piezoelectric technology, effectively rendering the triboelectric effect insignificant. Measurement ranges can be selected from 25 to 1000 psi, to optimize signal-to-noise ratio. The mechanical design minimizes the influence of the sensor on the shock wave and the measured dynamic pressure. With its rugged design, acceleration compensation and minimal bending sensitivity, it is tailored to give very accurate pressure signals in hostile environments. By using thermal protection foil Type 1191AAA10 the effects of thermal shock can be reduced by a factor of 10.
