Strain gauge load cells of Type 4574A are designed as a flat, circular disc with a central clearance hole. The measuring element inside the body carries a strain gauge full bridge which outputs a voltage directly proportional to the measurement variable on the application of a force. The load application ring for receiving compression forces is an integral part of the sensor. The measurement force must be applied centrically and without any transverse vectors. Please ensure that the force sensors of Type 4574A are mounted on a smooth and even surface.
