Plug-in fork light barriers for connection to the separate S2 electronics. Transmitter and receiver are located in a compact, and at the same time robust, fork-shaped aluminum housing. This allows easy mounting without time-consuming alignment. The connection to the electronics is made using the standardized S2 connector system. The extremely narrow design and the four possible cable outputs make the PE fork light barriers ideal for tight spaces. The infrared light transmitter (IR) is ideal for dirty environments. When used with the two-stage alternating light electronics S2-W-x-P2, the performance reserve can be doubled in highly oily operating conditions (amplifier level II). With the dynamic pulse electronics S2-D-x-P, the smallest objects from a diameter of 0.1 mm can be detected.
