The Smart Single Station (SST) from Kistler is a complete production cell, which is equally suitable for standalone operation and as an integration solution for existing assembly lines.

Production plants need to be flexible so they can respond quickly and efficiently to changes in process or capacity requirements. This is why we specifically design the Smart Single Station to automate assembly processes in different industries – from e-mobility to medical device manufacturing.

Smart Single Stations are backed by over 60 years of application know-how in measurement, joining and testing. Based on the modular principle, SSTs are individually designed with tried-and-tested proprietary Kistler components and systems.

They can be modified at any time – right down to tooling level. We implement systems with every level of automation, ranging from manual workstations to semi- and fully-automated assembly stations.

The re-engineered assembly press workstation designed for automated pressing, joining and inspection processes with integrated force-displacement-monitoring – Smart Single Station 2nd Generation – enables high-precision assembly featuring consistent product quality. The assembly workstations are equipped with our maXYmos NC electromechanical joining modules (servo press) and the maXYmos NC process monitoring system to guarantee product quality and traceability. For 100 percent quality inspection, the Smart Single STation can also be equipped with high-resolution cameras.
